Did you know that the holidays have been blamed for increasing stress? Of course you do. The need to travel long distances, the increasing pressure to buy-buy-buy, tense office environments after the holiday party....I could go on. However, I'm not one to lead a pity-party so let's focus on what's important.
No matter the reason, a great way to relieve your stress is through mindfulness, both with intention and physical activity. There is a reason that we feel so good after applying positive energy, and you can definitely find some of that within your own mind and body.
Be kind, be positive be grateful. Here are a few tips to find all three:

Stress rises if you let it. When you exercise, your body releases hormones that are designed to make you feel good. If you let go of your regular routine or indulge a little too much, a good sweat session is always there waiting for you to release and get back to basics. However you choose to sweat it out, just do.
