When did you fall in love with spin?
I fell in love after attending my first class at Spinunity. I showed up expecting the usual workout, but instead found an awesome team Motivator led class with a glow party on the bike. I was hooked - who knew a killer workout could be so much fun?
What are your nicknames?
Well my Mom and Grandma call me Kimberly, but the usual is Kim. There is only a handful of people in this world I'll allow to call me Kimmy ;)
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM YOUR CLASSES?
Well I love sprints, but they'll be mixed in with all the other elements that make a Spinunity class 'challengingly-awesome...is that a word?
Where can we find you on a Sunday morning?
You can find me at church with my husband and our 4 awesome kids - weekend mornings always start with a cup (or 10) of coffee and then quality time cuddled up on the couch with our little people.
Hands down red wine. You shouldn't drink wine on an empty stomach though so I always make sure to have some chocolate to go with!
If you could give someone one piece of advice, what would it be?
The same advice someone I admire gave me - you CAN DO IT! Always challenge yourself and don't be afraid to step into the uncomfortable.
What inspires you?
I've always been inspired by endurance athletes - marathoners, death racers, cyclists and especially Ironman competitors. I admire their stamina and it drives me to push a little harder when I think of what the body is capable of.
