When did you fall in love with spin?

I fell in love my very first Spinunity class! The atmosphere, the people, the lights, the music , the KILLER workout and the amazing sense of community left me feeling like I had discovered a new passion! I am very active in fitness and am always looking for new and exciting things to try. Attending my first class here with a friend turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made…EVER!

What are your nicknames?

My legal name is Jillian, but I go by “Jilly” because that is what I relate to most! (fun fact - I've always thought of making this my legal name - someday soon) Also known to many as Jilly-bean and J-dutts (a play-off of my maiden name).

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM YOUR CLASSES?

I LOVE reggae, having fun, laughing, and listening to music I can dance my heart out to, so expect a killer workout with up-beat music, dancing (the embarrassing kind) and a lot of fun and laughs!

Where can we find you on a Sunday morning?

You can find me at the dog park with my shepherd/heeler cross Janey (she’s the cutest!) and my husband Taylor, enjoying a crisp morning walk - not to forget the delicious Starbucks coffee in hand!

Guiltiest Pleasure?

Coffee coffee, more coffee...and 5 cent candies. If it was a logical life choice, I would fully live off those two things!

If you could give someone one piece of advice, what would it be?

So many things come to mind but the one thing that stands out most to me is follow your dreams, your heart and your passions, and let nothing stand in the way of allowing you to achieve them! Work hard, put in the time and effort and good things will come. No one said achieving your dreams would be easy, but the payoff in the end is worth all the blood, sweat, and tears you put in!

What inspires you?

My biggest inspiration is my mom. When I look at who I am today, I know I get my best qualities from her. She is strong yet gentle, independent but not afraid to ask for help, fiercely protective of the ones she loves and is the hardest worker I know. She is a fighter, a powerhouse and a force to be reckoned with! Her heart is big and her love is endless! She inspires me to be the best person I can be, to be confident in all that I do, and to always work hard. She pushes me, motivates me and most importantly is always there for me. Thanks mama!
